“Your body achieves only what your mind believes!”
I’ve had many trainers throughout my life and Jessica is truly the best!

She pushes me on the daily and convinces me that I am stronger than my mind believes. I’ve reached levels of fitness and strength that I’ve never done before.
Jessica is one of the most talented trainers I’ve ever worked with.

When I’m on the brink of giving up or thinking I can’t possibly do this last rep or set; Jessica motivation and bringing back the big picture to me pushes me to the last one.

I highly recommend trying a session with her and if you’re like me, you just can’t get enough of them!

Okay-- so up above this the basic that every fitness professional puts up-- but do you want to know the real me? Here the start of my "novel":

ROCK ON! You're feeling depleted and needing to find some “ME” time and just not sure how to find it with all that you have to do! BOOM!! You are ready to make some changes in your life and you found ME!

WELCOME

I am honored and feel grateful that you are taking the time to stop here amongst the many other options to allow me to share with you “WHY” you won’t regret your visit to this site right here and right now! I assure you, if you need to find a balance of taking care of life’s responsibilities and take care of yourself in the process you are in the right place! I am here to show you how you can get fit, stronger and feel great about yourself further enhancing your quality of life and transforming yourself positively for years to come .

It is possible and YOU ARE WORTH IT!

Have you heard the old cliché , Been there -Done that! I’ve struggled like many of you of not having enough hours in the day to accomplish all that one has to do and it can also be never ending.

We all know it doesn’t work! But can it? And can you really get it all done? I have learned to simplify my life by becoming an expert at asking for help – aka investing $$ in things that you don’t want to do, or things that are better served by paying the experts to take the guesswork and time out of trying to do it all yourself. This has allowed me to really focus and hone my skills on the things that I have a passion for.

I LOVE helping people!

I am pretty good, scratch that, I am DAMN good and confident at this fitness and eating right thing known as a healthy lifestyle that gets results! I’ve developed plans are great, doable, and simple (but not boring). I love taking the burden of “what to do” and “what to eat” off people’s shoulders so they can kick butt, find their passion in life, and become the person that they were meant to be.

This is my charge to you!- I am awesome at helping people develop a healthy lifestyle, you go and be awesome at your thing- and together- we will both make the world better.

In my earlier life, I spent much of my time without much direction. I graduated from the Naval Academy with an engineer degree and thus became the life of finding my niche.

I became a jack-of-all-trades. During this period is when I managed to become really good at doing many different things. I held many positions and responsibilities (Naval officer, test scientist, legal officer just to name a few) and also had numerous outside activities and hobbies as well (backpacker, triathlete, volunteer and much more) none of which fulfilled me to my core.

My life seemed incomplete and I was not happy.

I still love to hit the slopes, but there was a time in my life I thought if I was not skiing a run from a helicopter, it wasn't good enough.

This struggle allowed me to learn that happiness comes from honoring yourself and your special and unique set of skills or calling. It was at about year 5 into my naval career that I realized this was not the life I wanted.

It was about at this same time that I met my husband. He was (and still is) a STUD! He was a hot spin instructor and not only did I want him but I also had aspirations of being on that instructor bike too!

Of course I tried CrossFit for a bit- I mean, what other way for a type A personality to excel! It was a great experience, and I had some kick ass coaches, but in the end, I got hurt because I didn't know when to say "enough is enough".

Garett, (my now husband then mentor/friend) helped me get into the fitness industry and thus started my fitness career by teaching spin and bootcamp at 2 gyms.

During this time, I was also training feverishly for a 70.3 Half Ironman. Getting to know me, Garett sensed that training for this ironman was a cop out to avoid life and the sadness of being unfulfilled. He challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and open a business.

A cool photo of me from a triathlon in Rhode Island in which I placed 2nd over all (and something like top 10 overall - including dudes). Think I was happy, NOPE- it wasn't 1st place.

Together we started a 5k race company and hosted 5 races Will Run for Margaritas , Will Run for Beers x2, and Will Run for Wine x2. It was during this period when I realized that I may have just found my calling. I was good at fitness and I was also good at business and that I didn’t have to have to swim, bike and run away from all my sadness.

It was also a time when I fell madly in love with Garett and we got married and became life partners. Now a married couple and still doing my service in the Navy, Garett left his home and job and followed me as I got relocated. We decided to take a leap and looked to start a business. That is how we found a small kickboxing franchise CKO kickboxing.

The start of the new- happier Jessica :)

We signed the paperwork in December 2011 and opened in June 2012. Preparing for my departure of the Navy in 2014, we knew that we need needed to do something more. We attempted to look for another CKO franchise in the area without luck.

We were then fortunate enough that a space opened up in the same complex as CKO and thus began the legacy of 2.0. It is about being solo (no franchise) and about being honest. Kickboxing + weights is how we work out and we wanted to be able to share that part of us with others.

I absolutely love lifting heavy things!

Not only do we offer excellent clean facilities and great workouts, we have also incorporated challenges throughout the year that have gotten clients extremely positive results.

In 2015, we started to recognize that our challenges are doable, successful and really damn good. Friends and family of our clients started to ask if they could join in do their own workouts at their local gyms, but follow our challenge framework.

It was then that we realized that through technology and the internet we could help and offer our challenges to a more widespread population. We are honored to be able to help more people. Friends and family of our clients started to ask if they could join in do their own workouts at their local gyms, but follow our challenge framework.

That is when we realized this is not fair that just the people of Shoreline WA get to do these challenges

You’ve taken the first step and have gotten this far! Let me help you be successful on your journey!

Your time, effort and attention is better spent mastering your skill set and passion that is unique to you!
